This cube is a difficult packing problem. The 8 pieces that you need to put in the frame consist of a cube, with triangles glued to it and are each a different shape. Assembled, the cube has a cross pattern on the 3 visible sides. It is stored decoratively in a three-sided frame, which has a triangular cutout on the back corner, which makes it sit on the shelf at an interesting angle.
